CODE OF ETHICS

 
All clients of New World Tarot must be at least 18 years of age.
 
Third-Party Consultations: When a querent (client) enters into a relationship with another person(third party), New World Tarot accepts the idea that the third party’s energy does blend with and affect the querent’s own energy and life. As such, we have concluded that is it fair to explore what energy a third party brings to a relationship and how it affects the querent. However, we will not invade anyone’s privacy or private thoughts, and will not engage in the binding, blocking, controlling, cursing or hexing of any individual.
 
Predictions: At New World Tarot, we believe in exploring probable outcomes based upon the current path that we are traversing. However, we also believe in the complete and constant free will of everyone, and these outcomes can change at any time. New World Tarot is not a fortune-telling business. We believe in exploring what may come to past if the querent’s current actions are continued, but we also believe in exploring what can come to pass if the querent’s actions diverge from the current path.  We do not believe in hard, inevitable and fate-based predictions. We can and do change the future at any time, and we cannot and will not predict any unalterable dates, including but not limited to:
 

• Death dates
• Winning lottery numbers
• Apocalyptic dates
• Election predictions
• Gambling numbers

 
New World Tarot adheres to the belief that the Tarot should be used in combination with holistic and/or traditionally professional, licensed advice. In matters of health, finance and law in particular, a professionally-trained, industry-specific consultant should always be sought out as well. Specific questions relating directly to medical, psychological, financial and legal advice cannot and will not be addressed. Examples of these questions include:

• Will I win the court case?
• Do I have cancer?
• Should I take money out of my retirement account to fund my expenses?

The Tarot may provide the correct answers, but the communicator—the consultant—may err in reading and delivering the message.  Please seek professional advice to answer these specific questions. However, we DO encourage you to consult the Tarot on empowering questions relating to self-improvement, self-empowerment and creative problem solving. Some examples of related questions that ARE appropriate to ask are:

• What can I do to improve my chances of winning the court case? OR What can I am not seeing about this upcoming court case?
• What can I do to be my healthiest self? OR What am I not seeing about this particular health problem  I am having?
• What is my financial outlook OR what do I need to know about my financial situation right now?

At New World Tarot, we focus on client satisfaction. If you are not 100% satisfied with your consultation, you are entitled to a complete refund. You simply are to ask, and you will be refunded completely without hassle.
 
New World Tarot has a 100% Secure policy. All communications, consultations and personal information will be securely protected.
 
 
 
 
 

TERMS OF SERVICE


Payment Terms. Due to the difficulty with debt collection, all payments for reading requests must be tendered in advance or COD. Direct credit card and PayPal payments accepted. Please direct your payment preference type to NEW WORLD TAROT at the time of your service request. Please note that all payment transfers are done through the third party platform PAYPAL, so please be familiar with the privacy policy and terms of use for these third party platforms. NEW WORLD TAROT is not liable for any mishandling by these third party platforms. In the event of third party mishandling, your claim will be with PAYPAL directly. For in-person readings, cash only. NEW WORLD TAROT does not accept checks or money orders. If your credit card is declined or payment is not properly transferred due to deficiencies on your end, then NEW WORLD TAROT will be entitled to the balance owed plus a 25% interest as additional charge for the deficiency.

 
Cancellation Policy. For in-person sessions by appointment, to cancel you must send the cancelation notice to NEW WORLD TAROT at least 24 (twenty-four) hours in advance of the appointment. Otherwise you will be bound to pay the session price even if you do not show up for your session. Due to our packed schedule and the number of clientele we handle, cancellations are an enormous burden on our business. Thus, if you book a session, then we rely on your representation that you will fulfill your end of the arrangement and we will of ours. For e-mail written reading reports, all sales are final and therefore once offer and acceptance have been confirmed, you will be bound to the terms. Again, this is due to our busy schedule and the enormous burden placed on us if and when there are cancellations.

 
Service Requested is Not Time Sensitive. You understand and acknowledge that the service you have requested is not urgent and that time is not of the essence. If, however, your inquiry is urgent or time-sensitive, then separate, additional, written arrangements need to be made with NEW WORLD TAROT. If no such documented, written arrangements are made on timing of delivery, then you hereby assure us that your request and needs are not time-sensitive.

 
SERVICES: Refund Policy for Services. At NEW WORLD TAROT we value one-to-one personalized care, supported by a spiritual point of view. You are requesting a spirituality-based service tendered from experience, specialized knowledge, and personalized attention. Thus, our services are non-refundable. All service fulfillments are final. Nonetheless, we at NEW WORLD TAROT want to ensure that you glean the most value from your spiritual experience with us, and so if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. We would be more than happy to attend to you and see what we can do to resolve any concerns you may have.
Scope of Life Coach/Consulting Services. The services provided by NEW WORLD TAROT are akin to life coaching services and we strive to help you work on your goals for the future and create the life path you desire. Your experience with NEW WORLD TAROT in no way replaces professional counseling from a licensed counselor or therapist and cannot be relied upon in lieu of sound legal, medical, or financial advice from licensed or qualified professionals. NEW WORLD TAROT in no way diagnoses problems, but rather, suggests creative and intuitive perspectives for understanding your current problems, to help you come up with actions you can take to empower yourself in a way that will maximize your personal and professional potentials. NEW WORLD TAROT strives to help you improve the quality of your life by tapping into your creativity and intuition. The role of such a life coach/consultant is supportive.

 
Disclosure of Limitations. The spirituality-based services of NEW WORLD TAROT should never be used in place of professional counseling. Your reading cannot offer legal, medical, business, or financial advice nor does any portion of your reading from NEW WORLD TAROT purport to do so. You should not rely on any such spirituality-based service to make any decision that would affect your legal, financial, or medical condition. If your inquiry involves the law, finance, or medicine, then you should seek the advice of a licensed or qualified legal, financial, or medical professional. Also, spirituality-based services by NEW WORLD TAROT cannot replace qualified mental health care. A tarot reading can only facilitate how you cope spiritually with a given situation.

 
Video Reading Recordings. NEW WORLD TAROT may, at your option, provide video conference consultations or sessions through third party platforms or hosts, such as Skype or Google Hangout. These video sessions may from time to time be recorded. If a video session is recorded, you will be put on notice in advance of the recording. You are entitled to a copy of the video recording, though processing and administrative charges may apply. Before consenting to a video session, please go over any questions or concerns you may have with NEW WORLD TAROT. By commencing a video session, you are consenting to the terms herein. Likewise, please be advised that you are not permitted to record video sessions without express, written permission from NEW WORLD TAROT. If you would like to record your video session, then please ask before doing so. Reasonable accommodation or arrangements can then be made accordingly.

 
Confidentiality. NEW WORLD TAROT exercises reasonable diligence in maintaining the confidentiality of your sessions and we will not voluntarily, knowingly, intentionally, or willfully disclose your identity or the contents of your sessions with us to third parties. However, if NEW WORLD TAROT genuinely believes disclosure is required to: (1) prevent imminent harm or risk of harm to yourself or to another, (2) meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or (3) protect or defend NEW WORLD TAROT against claims or threats of claims, then NEW WORLD TAROT reserves the right to do so to the extent reasonably necessary. Please keep in mind that no legally recognized privilege exists between a tarot professional and client the way a privilege might exist between an attorney and client, doctor and patient, husband and wife, or priest and penitent.

 
Fortune Telling Laws. Pursuant to applicable laws of certain jurisdictions, a person can be guilty of fortune telling, still outlawed in certain places, when for a fee or compensation, that person claims or pretends to tell fortunes, or holds him or herself out as being able, by claimed or pretended use of occult powers, to answer questions or give advice on personal matters or to exorcise, influence, or affect evil spirits or curses, unless otherwise done so explicitly for entertainment purposes only. Any and all services provided by NEW WORLD TAROT neither claims nor pretends to tell fortunes and neither claims nor pretends to use occult powers in ways that would run against such laws.

 
For Entertainment Purposes Only. In certain jurisdictions, the spirituality-based services provided by NEW WORLD TAROT would require a clear disclaimer that such services are for entertainment purposes only. Thus, if such a law applies to any sessions between us, then you are hereby on notice that our session is and can only be for entertainment purposes only. Nonetheless, please note that per the faith and personal spiritual practices of NEW WORLD TAROT, all sessions will comply strictly to the morals and codes outlined by that faith and spiritual practice. In other words, we take our moral obligation to you seriously. Irrespective of the law, we treat our spiritual connection with you with reverence, faith, and integrity.

 
Reservation of Right. From time to time, as would be ordinary for any business, NEW WORLD TAROT may modify the Terms of Service and we reserve the right to do so at our discretion accordingly. The terms your service with us will be bound by will be the terms applicable at the time your service was rendered.
